It was a championship effort for the Waverly girls track team in the MHSAA Division 2 championships June 3-4 at Zeeland HS.  The Warriors totaled 42 team points to win the title by two points over second place Flint Powers.  Taking individual events for Waverly were Tra’chele Roberts in the 100 meter dash (12.55) while the relay team of Treaghan Thomas, Jazlynn Wilcox, Maya Garrett and Tra’chele Roberts won both the 4 x 100 relay (48.70 and the 4 x 200 relay (1.43.88).
