Another close call for Okemos in the MHSAA  Girls Lacrosse tournament.  The Chiefs edged East Grans Rapids 10-9 in the semifinals, then advanced to the Championship game June 9 before falling to Cranbrook 18-6.

At the MHSAA Division 2 State Girls Tennis Finals at Kalamazzo,  Yana Semerly of Okemos finished second to champion Greta Albertie of Seaholm losing in the finals 6-1, 6-1.
