All League Honorees Announced

CAAC coaches meet at the end of each season to make All-Conference selections in each Division in teams sports, while conference meets determine such honorees in some CAAC sports.  Check each sport home page for the All-League information.

Everett Reaches Boys Semifinals

Lansing Everett dispatched Muskegon in the MHSAA Boys Basketball quarterfinal round to earn a trip to the 2015 Semifinals at the Breslin Center March 27.  Saginaw Arthur Hill proved to be a tough opponent as the Vikings fell 73-61.  Click here for the game story from MHSAA Second half writer Geoff Kimmerly.

MIAAA Honors Dassance!

Eaton Rapids Athletic Director Jeff Dassance was honored at the recent MIAAA Winter Conference as the Region 7 Athletic Director of the year.  The CAAC and its member schools, coaches and athletes congratulate Jeff in being honored by his peers.  Keep up the good work Jeff!!

On to State!

Dewitt was one of two CAAC girls basketball teams to represent the league in the MHSAA State Semifinals March 20-21 at the Breslin Center.  The Panthers defeated Saginaw Heritage 44-36 in the semifinal round, then battled Bloomfield Hills Marian in the Class A title game, losing 51-37 to bring home the runner-up trophy.  Catch […]

A Great Run!

After sharing the CAAC Red Division regular season title with Dewitt, the Haslett girls basketball team joined the Panthers at the Breslin center in the MHSAA state semifinals March 20.  Coach Bob Currier’s Vikings dispatched Benton Harbor 63-52 in the Class B semifinals before falling to Detroit Country Day 49-41 in the Championship game, capping a 22-6 […]

Okemos Picture Perfect!

Okemos is the 2014 CAAC Hockey Champion.  The Chieftains finished the conference season 12-0, the first unbeaten champion in CAAC hockey history.  They lead CAAC schools into the MHSAA Tournament which begins March 2 throughout the state.  Congrats to coach Bill Sipola and the Okemos team on the CAAC title.
