Competitive Cheer
CAAC Competitive Cheer (varsity) will be conducted in two Divisions for the 2023-24 season as follows:
Red Division – DeWitt, Grand Ledge, Fowlerville, Holt, Mason, St. Johns, Waverly
White Division – Charlotte, Eaton Rapids, Lansing Catholic, Lakewood, Portland, Williamston
2024 All Conference Selections – Red Division | White Division

The CAAC annual Cheer Scholarship meet was held December 15, 2023 at Mason. Varsity results as follows:
- Mason – 733.32

A record $7400.00 in scholarships were awarded to seven competitive cheer athletes. The awards were based on athletic achievement and academic performance. A panel comprised of educators evaluated the applications and essays and chose the following recipients:
Edith Corey 0f St. Johns & Taylor Peterson of Holt each were awarded $1200 scholarships
Ella Keonigskhnect of St. Johns, Madison Balsis of DeWitt, Lynette Jensen of Portland, Lily Bowers of Portland and Anna Hagerman of St. Johns each were awarded $1000 scholarships.
